It came out of nowhere, around 6 this evening, he was retching and bringing up foam, his stomach blew up in front of us, his breathing became short and laboured, his gums were white, and he was hunched over. I got the vet out, she was here within 20 minutes, and he was barely with it, she advised against surgery, and so with a shredded heart I let him go. Kaiser died in my arms, in his favourite spot by the fire. He was sweet, very affectionate, and a complete mummy's boy, I loved him beyond reason, and I am bereft. Sleep peacefully my good boy, we will miss every day, and bless the day you came to us. Harry will be waiting for you at the Bridge with Harvey, x

Both of you were very lucky to be together. Many dogs owners do not appreciate or do not have such great bond with their canine that this one you share with Kaiser. I feel your pain, only the time will help you to heal... wish you all the best
