I'm looking for a new crate for the back of a Toyota 4runner. Since I would like it to run across the back of the vehicle so I can have the rear passenger seats up, it will need a side entry for the dog to get in through the rear hatchback.
It looks perfect except that the side-entry version is only available in 'intermediate' and this pup is 3.5 months old and already 30 lbs. He's going to outgrow this Intermediate one pretty quickly.
I'm wondering if anyone has any other suggestions for what might work. I don't really like those wire crates but may have to go with one of those if I can't find anything else. Thanks for your help!

Update: according to the company's owner, they'll have the Ruff Tough Kennel with the side entry door available in the large crate by the end of July. So I guess I'll wait for that one and then my problem is solved until I need an XL crate.
