Wow!! The past 10 days have FLOWN by!!
Fenn has been learning the rules of the house, and is picking it all up quickly. She has been introduced to the oldsters (CJ and Tyra), and Drift - leaving just Toni the problem child to contend with - that will be some time in coming, yet, I think. They sniff each other through the crate doors, but I want more time before I put them together - I may even move their crates together before we do formal introductions between those two. It took me 2 months to integrate Caterina, and I am fully expecting to take that long to integrate Fenn.
She is on leash when in the house hanging out with us, and she is learning that the house cats are NOT her personal toys to chase (this is why I think ALL puppies need to be introduced to cats). She does redirect easily, however, so I think she will eventually be fine with the cats.
She has bonded fast and hard with me, and we are working on building a working bond with Paul. I wanted to get her bonded with me before adding him into the mix, but now I am having him feed her and take her for walks. By watching her, I can tell that she will be a one person dog, which is fine by me

Fenn continues to do well. She was in the house with us last night, and was great with the other dogs. She and Toni pretty much ignore each other, and she has gravitated to Drift. I am hoping some of Drift's calm will transfer to Fenn
Paul and Fenn are building a bond. She snuggled up to him on the chair last night like she'd been there her whole life. He has been feeding her and taking her out, but she is still primarily bonded to me - she will pull like a mule to get to me if he has her on leash and she sees me.
She has not shown any aggression, though she does get overstimulated and will grab an arm or jacket sleeve. She redirects immediately with a sit or down command. Paul and I just have to learn to read her a bit better to head those moments off before she gets to the GAAAHHH point. When she grabs, it's not hard - more like a puppy wanting to play and not knowing how. But we have a rule in the house that dog teeth are not allowed on human skin, so we are working on it.
All in all, I think she has been doing very well She's a goof ball and makes us laugh all the time. This weekend I will try to get some video or pictures of her with us and the dogs.
ETA: By "in the house" I mean out of the crate on a leash spending time with us. Her crate is located in the main part of the house so that she can get used to the activity.

Nice update! It sounds like you and Paul are doing everything right, Fenn is a smart, adaptable girl, and all of you are going to adjust smoothly.

Yeah, Bob! Great respect for curving so deep!
I'm almost always barefooted, so 20 thumbs up, (more exactly fingers, toes) Kelly!!! How exciting to read about all this, I've missed those last weeks. Great work how you're establishing the house rules and creating such a strong bond. Sweet she's building one with Paul too. Looking forward to the pictures.
By the way what's a goof ball? (Just if you find the time for explaining) If not I guess I'll find it in some slang dict. Tried already, but without success yet. Only found a game, a pill, or defintion of a playful, impertinent, stupid person. Would the last one make sense if I delete the "stupid"?
