Connie, thanks for your links. Today I recieved the same alert from Dog Food Advisor alerts@dogfoodadvisor.com.
Here part of their message: "Party Animal, Inc. of West Hollywood, CA, has announced it is voluntarily recalling specific lots of its canned dog foods because they tested positive for the euthanasia drug, pentobarbital.
To learn which products are affected, please visit the following link:
Party Animal Dog Food Recall of April 2017".
We here anyway don't get many brands. I'm trying to find something like such a food adviser here too, who sends alerts. I couldn't find anything until now. Not even the Vets know anything about it.
Most people here anyway just buy the cheapest foods they can get. The minimum wage here is very low, so they can't afford something dearer.
I know also people whom could afford it, if they wanted, But they think for a dog this is good enough. They don't even spend money on anti wormers, vaccines etc.

An easy way to tell if Evanger produces a food is to look at the date stamp. Evangers ROLLS it on creating a crescent shaped date stamp. All other manufacturers STAMP the date on creating a neat straight date stamp.
I will not feed anything produced or co-packed by Evanger nor will I do business with a company that continues to use them knowing their past issues with sourcing dishonesty.
Perfect! Everyone who knows about such disgrace should further it to other animal owners. Lots of them don't know about it. Even lots of those who can and want to pay for the most expensive food think that they are on the safe side just because they spend money for wellknown brands. I myself was so naive in the beginning until I heard from someone that exactly "my" brand had horrible scandals in the past.
