Harry is now whining and running to the door for potty! Best present ever!
He also gives a paw, sits for toys, and won't come back in from potties unless he is fully done, and is now sleeping all night, with only one wake up, no barking, I just hear him moving excessively and take him out! I love this boy!
Thank You! Ended it with Harry sleeping through the whole Night! He out grew the 26inch(medium) crate so is now in the 39(large) crate, with no issues. Not one mess anymore, only issue we had was pizzle sticks have him diarrhea, but the smart boy always asked to go out, so not a poop in the house!
And a side note, we have gotten cold, -28c so far with -39 to -42windchill, and he does not bat an eye!
And the kids have dived right into raising him! That is a first, but cannot blame them, he is a sweet boy!
Well, if the kids are taught how to raise a dog - age-appriate and with supervision - then I think it is a good thing. So they learn early to understand and handle a dog.

I wish I'd learned it that way. You probably remember I spoke about all those dogs I built a bond with on my schoolway. and with the one I lured to my home.
My parents had a dog who died before I was born. He was trained to retrieve every morning the newspaper, a free and bad one. The dog retrieved it, but in the middle of the way he put it down and pissed on it. Then he picked it up again and handed it over to my parents.
They believed that signal, they believed the dog that the journal was worth nothing and later on payed for a better one!!!!
I myself just heard about the capacities of evaluating a journal by a dog and believed those fairy tales. Of course later on I found it ridicilous. Nevertheless it was helped building a great estiimation for those animals.. So at least they created some basics for me.

I don't think that would be how I would have responded had my dog pissed in my paper, Lol. I did have a dog that would once piss on my leg if we came near other people or dogs, but he quit after he got my rubber boot in his entitled rear!
