I like the pump better. Some dogs (like mine) don't like the gelcaps and you have to pop them. Hard to do that without smelling like fish! I use the pump bottle that Ed sells. My pup licks it up.

As far as I know, they are the same. Other board members may know better than I. BTW, I have been told from credible sources that the salmon oil is better than the omega capsules because of superior anti-inflamatory properties and my personal experience has born this out as well. A recurring skin sore on Yogi vanished after switching from omega capsules to the salmon oil and his overall coat looks better as well (thanks Cindy )

I use the Salmon Oil gelcaps. I just use a straight pin and poke a hole in it, then squeeze the oil out on the food. Don't have a problem with getting it all over.
When I give my dogs the gelcaps I just put them in there mouth, tilt there head back, and they swallow them. Being that I didnt open it will it still do them good, or am I doing it wrong. I thought you just swallow it like a vitamin? Thanks for your info......
