corgipower - Elizabeth Shulman Webboard User Reg: 09-13-2002 Posts: 99 Loc: Offline	i have a 4 month gsd that already is showing warning signs of displasia. he is also showing signs of being an awesome tracking dog. we are starting him on mega doses of ester c and glucosamine. i have had a lot of trouble with finding dogs that can track. i'd like to compete in tracking and maybe even put a VST on a dog. anyone have any experience tracking dogs with displasia? A dog teaches a boy fidelity, perseverance, and to turn around three times before lying down. --Roger Caras

corgipower - Elizabeth Shulman Webboard User Reg: 09-13-2002 Posts: 99 Loc: Offline	thank you ed. my vet doesn't put much faith in OFA. she's thinks penn hip may be a little more accurate. what i'm wondering is if tracking will put less strain on his hips, and increase the chances of him holding up for competition? or is displasia just going to run its course regardless of what he does?
