I'm sure you already know that they advertise APBT's up to 125 lbs. I remember seeing their "Diesel" Dog in the book "K-9 Protectors." I'm sure that they are finding a huge market since, as that book notes, pit bull owners only complaint tends to be they wish that their dogs were a little bigger. But my understanding is that huge APBT's have tended to lose to 55 to 80 lb ones in the pit, which explains why they evolved to being their normal size. Obviously, they lose some speed and mobility in exchange for that extra muscle. But they already hit so hard- was anyone really overpowering them anyway? On the other hand, I'm sure you get a lot of intimidation factor from these bigger dogs. I'd also love to see how these giant APBT's perform. I'm no expert, but I'd take a 70 lb one over one of these. As a side note, and this statement does not in any way constitute legal advice, I can also imagine in court: "the defendant wasn't satisfied buying a dangerous pit bull, he sought out a giant pit bull twice the size of a normal pit bull."
I HAVE SEEN THEM IN ACTION THEY HIT LIKE TRAINS.BUT THEY ARE NOT THE PITBULLS I HAVE COME TO KNOW AND LOVE. AWESOME? YES! AMERICAN PITBULL TERRIERS NOPE!
I'll second that, Land of Giants Pits aren't the pits I know. I have seen his dogs in person and they aren't the typical wagging tailed pit. They have attitude for protection. Thats good if you are looking for that but its not typical of the classic pit temperment. Thats what he shoots for though protection dogs and that what he delivers.
His dogs are that big in size. Most run around 80-105lbs.
I have been to the site and I can tell you those are not APBT's. I can't see why anyone would brag and boast about a breed of dog when they don't even have a real dog of what they claim to have. The APBT is a hunting dog that has a strong will to please it's owners and be a clown to others.
It's the same old deal of people messing with breeds again and changing temperments along the way.American Bulldog's come to mind more when I see these dogs than a APBT.This is pretty nieve to say,I suppose, but I still cannot see why if someone doesn't like something that major, such as size or coat length, temperment etc.,why not buy a breed that has more of what you do want instead of trying to drasticaly change a breed with, more often than not, disasterous results.I just don't get it.
If somebody started selling 50lb chihuahuas, would you trust them? I wish they'd just call these oversized mutts "american mastiffs", since that's what they have become.

They would have to change the name to Mexican Malois. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
