Does anyone here have any information on the Herreinche (now goes by Oakwood) kennel in wisconsin owned by Paul and Marie Hombach? I contacted them today and she told me a little about the dogs, but I would like other opinions as well if I can please. My dog is out of a bitch bred by them. If this sort of discussion is not allowed, then please em me. TIA

No, there are quite a few dogs in my boys pedigree from that kennel. I am doing pedigree research. He is my first GSD and I don't know a whole lot about GSD bloodlines. I researched before I bought him of course, but now I am really going indepth and am trying to find out as much as possible about the lines and each dog in the bloodline. I'm starting with the ones my dog has and this kennel I have not been able to find a whole lot of info or pics. I do know that Paul was one of the founders of schutzhund in the US and that in the 1986 nationals there were 4-5 dogs there from his kennel. I'm just trying to find out their reputation, the kind of dogs they produced, specifics on the dogs would be great if anyone can tell me anything. Marie said she could not see very well anymore due to eye problems and is not going to look up info for me. She at least told me their titles though, and some she thought may have tracking titles but she was not sure. And anything else anyone could come up with would be great.
