Hey Rock, I'm out here. I got your pics and e-mail, but have been buried at work (I'm here today and tommorrow as well). Hope your pup is doing well!! I had to start Bella at the beginning (with rag on string) after a winter of NO prey development at all. Also had to sort out some really dumb mistakes on my part (feeding older male and her at same time... very subtle dominance effects, access to toys at all times, etc). I'm going to the Flinks seminar in Elkhart in June; hope he can give some good guidance as I'm a newbie to this sport.
Owner of 2 boxers here. 1 is 16 mths old and 1 is 9 weeks old. They are a great breed and I enjoy them very much. I will never be boxerless. Best companion dogs I have ever owned.
I know this thread is real old but i'm a new member here. my current boxer is 5 months old now and i'm currently learning from the flinks video (training drive, focus & grip). my boxer is from american lines and i'm finding out that he does not have as much prey drive as i originally thought. regardless, he's shaping out to be a great companion and i hope to get the "Basic Obedience" tape soon. PM me any tips you might have. thanks
