It will unhook by one of the prongs by the chain. Take a look and play around with it. A prong should be tight you should be able to slip two fingers inbetween the neck and collar. milt

I would advise that if you haven't already, get Ed's "Basic Dog Obedience" tape. On the tape you will be shown the proper way to use a prong collar.

You are correct Lonny, there was instruction on how to correctly put a choke chain on. I could be wrong on the prong. Wouldn't be the first time!
