Hello:
I have purchased a few items from Ray Allen and I have been very satisified with their product and the quality of their workmanship. I have a couple of puppy tugs that have lasted for 4-5 years easy.
Hope this helps,
Brandon
Ray Allen is good, but if your enjoying the board you can support it by buying training equipment from leerburg.com. The prices here are comparable if not better than Ray Allen. I have had good buying experiences with Ed. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
The breeder that I purchased my mal from uses ray allen. I do feel indebted to leerburg for the advice I have received on this board. I will try his products. thanks.
Ray Allen, although providers of good service and product, is a large company. I enjoy spending money with Leerburg because I know the character of the people involved. Call Leerburg or e-mail Ed and they remember who you are. Call Ray Allen or someone comperable and ask them for advise or help with a training problem, see how much help you get. The quality of Ed's products, in my opinion, the same as others if not better. Be sure that Ed does not carry or sell anything he does not use himself. Often times, larger companies ( Foster & Smith, for example) carry useless shit they would never put in their own kennels. The only way, topically, you could beat Ed's prices is to buy directly from the manufacturer ( yes, I know Ray Allen is the manufacturer of most of what they sell) in Europe but that is SIGNIFICANTLY off set by the fluctuation of the Euro and the very expensive shipping. Bottom line, you want to buy tested and dependable dog training eqipment at a reasonable price, stay with Ed. I will venture to say that if Ed doesn't have it, if it is worth having, he will tell you were it can be gotten. I speak from ( an expensive)experience. Good luck with your choice.
