Hi Ed


Does this package contain all the basic knowledge I need (i had a couple of good dogs, so I don't need the very very basics) to raise a working puppy until the age of 8 month or did I forget a movie (or perhaps I chose too much?)

The biggest Problem for my hesitation is that I that I don't know exactly which equipment I will exactly need. Which sizes of bite-roll etc. I will certainly know it after I watched the movies, but perhaps you can give me a list of exquipment, you recomment along that is needed till the age of 8 month?

I went with his suggestion, but I am just starting out so I would listen to what Ed and others have to say on the issue before making your final decision.

One thing I will suggest, unless you are a vet, buy the First Aid video "Save Your Dog's Life #423", it's only $20.00 and with it you will be better equipped to save your dog's life should the need arise. I can't wait to get mine. The way I see it, most of the training is based on making the dog better able to serve man, however this one is about man being a better handler, it's the least we owe them. Not to mention, it protects our investment.

I will take interest in answers to the question you posed about required equipment. I too am starting out and want to get a list of things I will need to have early on.
