I don't know anything about the dog but I do know that Jim Hill is a great guy and one you can trust. If you haven't spoken to him yet about the dog, give him a call, he'll be honest with you. Hope this helped a bit, Brandi

Hi:
Thanks for the heads up Brandi. I can say that I don't know Jim, but I have spoken to him on a few occasions and he seems like a very nice guy. I am planning to go back east in the next month or so and plan on taking a look at this dog. I am not very knowledgable about Czech bloodlines, so I wanted to know more about "the dog" and what is behind him, so to speak of. By the way, does anyone know what "B" hips mean?
Brandon,
I've tried to search for info. on him, but most important his parents. I've had no luck finding anything. It's sometimes hard to find info. on Czech dogs. I've even checked out some Czech. web sites but no luck. Best bet, ask Jim Hill about his parents. He may know. If he doesn't, I would consider another dog that has proven parents. Unless, you completely check Cid out and you like him, then go for it.
Sorry that I couldn't find anything for you, Brandi
PS: Another person you could askis Ed Frawley. I think he deals with Czech. dogs. Try him.
Does anyone know anything about this dog or his bloodlines and would care to comment? Any Czech pedigree guru's out there? The dog is bred very similiarly to my patrol dog.
Ceylon z. Hundorfu, SchHIII,FH, DPOII, PSP-1, PSP-2
You can see his pedigree and offspring at my site http://www.k9services.com
I've been quite pleased with the dog to say the least and he's produced some nice working dogs and quite possibly my next patrol dog who will turn a year next month.
Ed has a couple puppies from him and is quite pleased with them.
