could anybody shed some light on some information I seek? I recently purchased a german shepherd (female) and I want to know for sure if its from a working history background?
father of my dog is Collin vom Haus Ming and mother is Yosy v der wannaer hohen. it also has the dog Mink vom Haus Wittfeld in its bloodline.
Well, since you purchased a dog that you haven't a clue about the pedigree, why don't you just give it to me. I mean after all, you have no idea what you're getting into. Hope you're better at training than you are at knowing what you're buying...because you're going to need it.

I will say this...for someone to buy a dog out of lines like these, not knowing anything about the dog (whether it's working or showline) is beyond foolish, it's moronic. It would be like you taking a pocket knife into a room that you don't know if you need to whittle a flute or fight 40 guys with guns.
By the way, Collin is VH3 as well as PH1 met lof...tell you anything?

He lived here for several years and lots of his progeny were wimps. Tell that to those who are breeding on his son Rakker (who is also PH1 met lof). I'm sure they'd love to hear how much that line is crap, or are we forgetting that the bitch is also important to the equation? And I can put you in touch with someone that knew Collin, bred to and on him, gets good results...or then there's the person that owned his sister, Citty, whom I believe you've met before.

Me? Well, it's not my dog.
I was referring to your "just give it to me comment".

Why's that? You're moronic putting down someone who is asking for assistance.

Great analogy! You read me so well. I must be crazy.

Sure Mike, I like Citty a lot. Nifty bitch. And I love SOME of Gento's progeny, but it's certainly no given that just cuz a dog has a certain title, every single freaking puppy out of it is going to be some kind of maneater that a normal human being can't own. The best litters in the world have 'lesser' pups that make outstanding pets. Absolutely no need to jump on anyone like you did.

What's moronic about wanting people to do their homework before they make a commitment? Sorry you don't agree, but I get tired of hearing about great dogs being thrown away because their owners didn't know what they were getting into. I get passionate about these peeves, if you've got a problem with it, don't read it, but it is a big problem.

Tells me NOTHING about you.
You didn't ask about ME, maybe you should learn how to type what you're thinking rather than expecting everyone to understand what you're after.

You must be dense, "you" used in that analogy is a generic use of the term. I suggest some remedial English courses at the local JC so that you might be able to communicate with the intelligent people.
