I think you missed this part of the post, liar. lol
"Now, all you liars out there that say you have absolutely zero preference in color come clean and vote anyway. We all (at least most of us ) would take the best working dog hands down, BUT everybody has SOME soft spot for a particular color. . . "
Come clean, you have to have some kind of preference, its only human. lol
I think Red&Black (show color) is the best looking, but I don't know if getting that combination is an easy task with working dogs.
Flinks dog is the best I've seen that resembles that color.
Sometimes I think it would all be much easier if all the working line GSDs were black so this way we wouldn't have to think about it, lol.
D- you wanna know why? Because for the last 6 yrs I had a black dog that "didn't shed" and I bought basically a lot of black clothes to hide the shedding...now I have this black and tan shedding monster(who I love dearly) but I have learned investing in lint rollers comes with German Shepherd ownership.
Downside to black dogs is they don't do well in heat....
I really like the sables, but no more than the other 3 choices.. Now if you could breed the perfect working sable that didn't shed we would have a deal.... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
