I would like to know what insurance (homeowner) is friendliest towards owners of breeds like GSDs.
My fiancee has had the same insurance for 20 years (including the same same company for car insurance). She was wanting to get renters insurance from Liberty Mutual for the house we are renting together. When she told them we have a gsd (since they asked what kind of dog etc) she was basically told they could not insure her. She owns a house and is renting the house to her mom. now she is being told they will probably not be able to insure that house either, yet she has had the same insurance (from Liberty Mutual) for 20 years. she explained it was not her dog technically. So now we are shopping around for new insurance. anyone have any recommendations ?
she is on phone with insuranc companies. in addition to all this, if once gets cancelled regarless of reason it becomes even more difficult to get insurance.
