At my parents house almost 8 months ago my sister and her boyfriend were in the barn working on his truck, when Buddy came walking out from underneath the truck. After a bit my parents were looking for a new home for Buddy, so I took him in. Now, I have no idea what Buddy has in him. From what I can tell, he is predominantly husky, with some possibly golden lab maybe. Others have said maybe some Chow or Pitt Bull in him as well. He's not going to be a show dog or anything so not going to get him sequenced(isn't that like 1000 bux or more?). Just wanting to find out what everyone thinks he might have in him.
I'm going to guess white German Shepherd Dog mixed with yellow lab. I don't see the husky in him - does his tail curl up over his back? But, keep in mind there could be WAY more than two breeds in there, not knowing his background - still I'd say predominantly White GSD. From the frontal pictures, he could be a purebred, until you see his yellow color and body-type from the side.
Yes, tail curls up over his back. I don't have any other pictures of him here at work. He has red down his back as well, that's why I was thinking Husky. Will post some more pictures when I get home later. Thanks!
If I had to guess it would be GSD with some sort of snow dog by the looks of the feet. got sone albino-ism going on. good luck, with training he'll be a good dog. find a job for him <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
My apologys, I understood that posting pictures elsewhere on the forums was a no no, but figured this whole subforum was for pictures. If I can inquire, why the no picture posting rule?
Jason,
Pictures equal slow load times for people on dial-up. We're a serious discussion board here, for the most part. Folks can post links to pictures and send interested parties over to sites that specifically host picture albums, etc.
On a personal note, I've noticed that many, many, dog forums decay into a "Oh look at my pretty dog" crap site when pictures are allowed. It's like there's a herd of pet owners that have some weird need to post pictures of "Fluffy the malformed poodle" all over the internet. And without fail, the more photo's that are posted, the less intelligent discussion that occurs.
