I did read Eds site on RAW diets. My question is how much should I give in MGs? Heres what Ed wrote:
I cannot stress enough that you need to give your dog Vitmain E every day of its life. To gain the most beneficial effect from Vitamin E you also need to give Omega 3 (salmon oil every day) In my kennel I give each dog 2 Vitamine E pills (I probably could get by with one but they are cheap and an extra E pill per day will never hirt a dog) I also give one Omega 3 pill for every 10 pounds of body wieght per day (a 80 pound dog gets 8 Omega 3 pills)
He says how many Omega pills but are all Omega pills the same? The ones I have are 1000mg. So does that mean an 80lb dog gets 8000mg? Kane weighs about 70 lbs but has some skin problems. How much should I give him? Also vitamin E... the soft gels I have are 1000IU. How many should he take?
Thanks in advance to all who reply <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
I just found the answer to my own question:

No matter what you feed your dog you should ALWAYS give your dog 880 to 100 unites of vitamin E and a fish oil pill for every 20 pounds oif body wieght. Dogs with allergy issues should not get any grains in their diet and they should get a fish oil pill for every 10 pounds of body wieght.
So that would mean 6 Omega pills and 3 Vitamin E's right? (considering Kanes skin problem)
