Glenn Wills Webboard User Reg: 12-15-2001 Posts: 389 Loc: Kansas Offline	Looking for some answers about different types of anestesia used when having OFA's done. Is there a safe, safer and safest drug to use? I would like to inform my Vet if there is before I have my bitch OFA'd. Also where is the link concerning proper positioning? I want to send a copy of this to my Vet to read before she does any X-Rays. Any ideas about nutrition or supplements that might help the body rid itself of the drug afterwards? Seems to me I read something about this in one of my many books. Maybe it was Martin Goldsteins book, I can't remember. Thanks In Advance Glenn

My dog who was a bit groggy coming of out isoflurane popped right out of the sevoflourane after a long dental procedure (3 hours) In all fairness, she had lost a lot of blood when the isoflourane was used, even though it was a short procedure (toungue artery laceration) and the blood loss could have slowed up recovery from isoflourane.
