Hello , I'm living in Belgium and I want to know why only NVBK ring is used in USA and not St Hubert?

NVBK has a few interested people and the President of the organization has expressed an interest in extending to the uSA but it isn't really participated in here. French Ring has made it here and Mondio Ring probably the most popular.
People interested in the protection sports are just too few and far between here in the States for these to be more than a few hundred people.
Schutzhund/IPO are still the largest group but even among that discipline there are very few with a high end guess being maybe 10,000 people involved throughout North America.

I believe it's because people just starting out looking at belgium ring in the states only hear about NVBK many starting will tell you NVBK is belgium ring, and I to am at fault for referring to belgium ring as NVBK on occassion, that is just how it is referred to most of the time, not all the time but most of the time. Some don't know about ST. Hubert. Belgium Ring in the US has been struggling because the people who have pushed BR have had personal goals as a main priority, not the advancement of the sport, and because of that I have quit training BR because I truely believe it will never be in the US for many reasons, one being the BoD for NVBK don't care for it to be here, and St. Hubert hasn't exactly reached out to the US either. I think Belgians are perfectly happy having BR mostly in belgium, and I must say with a 20-30 member club every other mile damn near you guys are doing a good job. As for starting our own program of BR owned and operated by Americans just for us to compete nationally here in the US, that venture has been tried and in my opinion failed.

I also want to comment that the president of NVBK is merely a figure head, and has no authority without the BoD, who has no intrest really in BR and the US. I have seen first hand correspondance between individuals here in the states and the NVBK PRES and it's BoD. Simply put the president and the BoD are not on the same sheet of music and also, the reasons of the president is definatly up for debate$$.
