I just took my GSD for a walk (it is evening time, best time to walk him since it has gotten so hot) next thing i know a coyoty comes straight at us. I do have a walking stick and i used it. It didn`t help. I did hit him hard. There was no way avoiding it, my GSD got into a fight with him.. a bad one. He did end up killing it (which surprised me, after all it is a wild animal) but he suffered a few wounds. I took him to an emergency hospital( luckily we have one right across the street from where i live) and they asked me if he has all his shots, mainly rabies, which he does. After that they told me that it was pretty damn sure that i was going to have to put down my dog anyways. Isn`t that bull or do i have to worry even so he had his rabies shot?

This post is rubbish. I have hunted cayotes for 25 years. They dont walk up to you and fight with your dog. This is 100% bull shit. If you post something this stupid again I will ban you from the board. I am closing this thread. I suggest you send me a email before you make another post on my board.
