I'm a new member to this forum, and quite honored to be 'approved'. I must confess to knowing very little about schutzhund, maybe enough to fill a thimble, but I am truly fascinated with the sport...can I call it a sport?

I have been a German Shepherd fanatic as far back as I can remember. My family always had mutts, which I loved and adored, but my secret passion was to one day have my very own gsd. I realized my passion when I was a teenager and finally conned my parents into letting my get my first gsd with the money I earned working after school, weekends, and then full time in the summer. I made a lot of mistakes with that poor dog, mistakes that I made certain I didn't repeat with my next 3 shepherds.

I currently have a beautiful female that has gone through the homes, mine making her fourth, but through it all she has kept her sense of humor, playfulness, and dignity. She had a few issues that we had to work through, but she has certainly been worth it, she is truly a wonderful, wonderful dog.

I'm really looking forward to being a part of a community that shares my passion for the gsd, and also to learning more about schutzhund. Here is a picture of my dog Heidi, I hope this works!
