I am looking for sample lease agreements between departments and handlers supplying their own dogs. Currently going through a revision of what we have done in the past....which was the lease was supply of all food and vet bills covered by the dept. I did come across one at http://www.ces.purdue.edu/Blackford/4-H-869-W%20lease%20agreement.pdf It involves a University leasing an animal, so the wording would have to be gone over and modified, but so much of the basic idea is similar that it might help. This Topeka Police Department online minutes of the action to lease police dogs is filled with details about what issues they had and had not anticipated, and looks like a great source for details to incorporate into the lease agreement.
