The gentleman mentioned in the subject is supposed to be coming to Alabama K9 for 28 days sometime in the near future. I am contemplating booking time with him for my 11 month old female shepherd. I, upon request, have already submitted my dog's pedigree to check her bloodlines, etc. She has Sch III's throughout and this was a non-issue. I was just wondering if any of you folks might have some insight in what to expect from Mr. Bastiaansen. Have you had any experience with the man? Thank you for your time.
My experience with Rinus in seminars has been great. He has years of experience in training and breeding and is the Team Captain for this year's Belgian WUSV team.
While he is pretty well versed on lineage, this has little to do in how much you can benefit from the training. If your dog has the working capacity to work (not the paper aspect of things) then this training will benefit you well.
I would recommend the seminar @ Marlene's (Alabama K9) and I'm considering coming down for a week since 28days is a lot for some working folks. LOL :-D
The dates are pretty sketchy so you may want to email Marlene first since she seems to be orchestrating things for Rinus in this seminar.
I don't know Rinus personally, but do know people who have gotten dogs from him and they speak very highly of him. As far as I'm concerned he's one of the few people in Europe that has treated his American customers well.
