I take my puppy to the park that has a fire engine to play on. He was a liitle timmid at first. I did not let him jump up very much or off at all just getting him used to standing on top and crawling around. Then we go to the playground with a slide a tunnle and marry-go-round. He has been on all doesn't like going down the slide so we just do the stairs. Has done this since around four months. Now he is almost ten months. Last week he went up and down a couple times than acted like he lost interest so we did the others. This week we went over and he would not go near the slide. I tried to get him into drive near it and did not work. I am going to try just going there and work on drive and grip not asking him to go up for a while near the slide . Any other sugestions?

What breed of pup are we talking here? Why did/do you want him on the slide and all the other kids play things. What are you planning on training him for? Lots of questions but I dont understand why you want him doing all this unless hes going in the circus Seriously, can you explain a bit more what dog and what the reson behind this training is..i think i lost the plot somewhere.
When dogs go down slides their paws generally go in all directions until they learn to brace themselves. He may have had his paws slide too far, hurt himself, and then decided that the slide was a bad thing.
