Aww look at that, the board gave me a birthday cake next to my name... *blows out candles*
Didn't realize it was programmed to do that
How sweet... but did I really need another reminder of my aging? lol
What a grand and beautiful guy! I think that's a great pic of the BOTH of you.
I sent you an email with a copy of your image that you can use in place of your larger file image, exactly the same only more compressed (ends up being about 22 kb).
(By the way, you might consider compressing your image a little more. It's currently 113k and the size limit suggested in the board's FAQ is 35k. Small visual size doesn't mean small k size; it's all in the compression you use.)
It's the same visual size as the one you posted, but compressed down to 24k. The smaller version you're using now is still 47k... you don't have to shrink the image, just compress the file
You can check the size the way Amber suggested for computer images before uploading them. To see the size of a posted pic, right click the image and go to properties. The size is given in bytes and you can see the image dimensions as well (the visual size, if you will).
(You can continue using the current URL of your image if you'd like; I uploaded it to my own domain, where I built my pup's breeder's website. You can also save the new version of the image and upload it to your own image account and link from there.
It's up to you, I don't mind hosting your pic )
EDIT: haha, don't worry so much Judy! I can assure you, you came nowhere near crashing the system with your delightful image
The pics posted in the members & bio section are far bigger than that, not to mention the videos on the Leerburg website, which go into the hundreds of MEGA bytes... thousands of times the size of your image.
I would have PM'ed you with the info, but I've been getting the same types of questions over and over again from other people. Hopefully by posting the explanations here it will help out others who run into the same errors.
Inevitable, everyone has to start somewhere... once you learn it, it will stick
Don't worry about moving the image; I don't mind the linking, it's such a tiny thing anyway. Keep using the current URL as long as you'd like.

HUH? OK, after my son translates all that, I'll get right back to you .
