The big issues (bad care, non-reporting to you, no records, hideously sloppy mingling of sick with well dogs, lying, and so on) don't really hinge on the appearance of the sick dogs, I am guessing. The pics are just one of the things that might help..... maybe.
It's paperwork and witnesses that I think are crucial.
If you have to return to get more complete records, TAKE someone to hear them say "We can't find them."

i went in and asked for everything pertaining to my dogs that they had, the med charts, and the kennel charts. They said they could only give me copies, and that they didn't have all the charts.
I was concerned because, i asked them to show me where they had eaten food, and they only had record on them eating through the 20th. Keep in mind, i pecked them up the 24th.And they look like they haven't eaten since the 20th. And, there are only initials by the am feeding.
The vet said, another vet who was treating abbi took the kennel records because she was trying to contact me( she sent one e-mail, before abbi was treated and died), and left them in her office over the weekend, and is now on vacation. They couldn't write down that the pups were eating because they didn't have the sheet. No one knew enough to grab an extra sheet of paper to write down whether the parvo pups were eating or not. But the first time i asked to see the records, they said they didnt know where they were, then another person came in and said they were in the other vets office(and why can't you go in and get them, you own the place....)
I just talked to my vet, she says if the last one starts vomiting again, to bring him in, and they would treat him, and let me pay later. She even gave me her personal cell number. But she can't figure out what that guy injected into my dogs. Grr, i have to call that place back. They may not even talk to me.

ok, the shot was cerenia. My vet says it is usually good, but that doesn't mean my dogs couldn't have had a reaction to it. Seeing as how they weren't really vomiting, except water, (me talking here), it shouldn't have even been given. I did take a witness there, sort of. I had to get a ride, but once in the office, he waited in the waiting area. Damn, i should have brought him in.

You can email that you need the "missing" info. You can go there WITH SOMEONE standing next to you and ask whether they now have it.
Again, I would say nothing about the eating records being so frightening, or anything else IN the info. Not now. Just get that info, and get a witness to observe any refusals.
You can also send certified requests, if necessary.
Personally, I lean towards an email saying (politely) that I would be there at --- time to pick up the records that had been unavailable (keeping a PRINTED copy..... this will be when the computer takes a dive), and save any replies.... and go there, as arranged, with someone. Have a pad of paper, too..... "I can't find them" can be written and signed by the desk person.... and so on.
I'm not a legal person. This is just what I would do.

Sorry to hear about your pup Mallory, what a shame, my heart bleeds for you. Sounds like Connie is giving you some real good advice. Hang in there ... the other pups need you.

so dobby is hanging in there, his gums are pretty pale, but i am working on that. His sub-q is moving up to every 2 hours, and he is getting karo syrup slathered on his tongue whether he likes it or not. I bought some pediasure, and am giving that in a syringe, with some baby food. The pediasure has all kinds of nutrients and vitamins, as well as hydration. The baby food is well, food.
The chi is so weird, he isn't dehydrated, and isn't vomiting. He is just not moving, and refusing food. I guess it's because he is older.
I am just so livid.

Calm, upbeat, soothing..... for the pups.
Is Pediasure a complete food (protein, etc.)?

The whole deal stinks! What an incompetent bunch!
I wonder if they actually fed the pups for those 4 days?
I think it would be a good idea to disinfect your shoes and hands after your visits there. If they are that lax with Parvo what else is laying around waiting to be picked up?

yes protein, it is a complete "meal replacement" for kids. It has all that good stuff. He is getting that, plus some babyfood apple/blueberry something.
Does he need more protein? I can get the meat babyfood. It's all so runny, he is taking it.
i just talked to my vet, she says if he can hold on till the am, she will take him and pay for his i'v's and stuff for a day. She really likes dobby, she wants her brother to adopt him. AND, she told me to not come directly in, to just poke my head in, and the receptionist would usher me into a side door, bleaching behind me. The pup would never be in the waiting room, or where other dogs or people could get to without bleaching. I was never so grateful for my vet. that is how all should handle someone coming in with parvo. Actually, i think that IS how the rest of the world deals with it.

That sounds OK to me...... it's food, right? I was just worried it might be just fluid and electrolytes.
I am SO glad some food is getting in!!! Good job. :>
