these are dogs that see each other all the time in the day care, there are no dominant dogs, except for my own, they are the pack leaders and keep the peace in the pack, very amazing to see. they show no agresssion cause i dont let them.
Michael,
Your description of all these dogs happily playing together in the doggie day-care with no dominance except from your own dogs who "keep peace in the pack" (but without showing aggression, you say?) has made me curious. This scenario will only work if you screen out potential clients' dogs who would be too dominant and potentially dog-aggressive to fit in. So how do you do that? If I were to bring you my GSD as a potential day-care customer and tell you that he was an absolute sweetie with all other dogs, how would you go about assessing my dog before letting him loose in your facility?
Very good info, all!! Sometimes the flashiest web pages and titles are just that: flash. Hmmm, now to go look over the website more carefully of a trainer I've been considering...

Boy Charlie, I've always looked at Will and yourself as scholarly, collegiate types from the diction and grammer of your posts. You're using spellcheck programs????? Another deception of the internet.
Well that SUCKS....you never answered my question on what your methods for training bite work are....?
I'm looking forward to Michael's answer to my question (see above in this thread) about how he screens dominant/aggressive dogs out of his daycare facility, too.
