that one is him chasing the water from the hose in the back yard (his favorite summer game). i'm surprised it is so large. it's only 26k, and the limit in the guidelines is 35k.
he is starting to slow down a bit (the pic in the sig line was taken when he was 3 yrs. old and now he's almost five). but as you can see from his intensity and drive in the picture, he's always played very hard. he was the only pup in the litter that was a retriever, and he loves soccer, fetch, and especially racing around trying to catch the water out of the hose.
he's like a freight train once he gets going, faster, and faster, and a real powerhouse. i am always watching it when he gets wild (he has amazing "happy attacks" too), because if he slammed into me i'm sure i'd be in the hospital.
his endurance is actually not as good as i'd hoped. he can hike about seven miles with a 50 lb. pack and then he craps out on me. his predecessor easily did 20 miles a day in rugged terrain carrying a pack. i think it's because ben is built a lot more massively than my previous mastiff was.
Alica, I was raised with Dogue de Bordeaux and shepherds,I love your picture, your dog looks very nice.I know your dog is not a French Mastiff but I have a love for the mastiff breeds.
Yes she is a Bullmastiff and the shepherd ( both were a little over a year old when the pic was taken) is using her as a pillow. Both are wonderful dogs!
Is it just me or does it look like Carbon is posting?
Ever since you changed your pic to the one that's there right now at your sig line, I swear, it looks like Carbon is asking the question and waiting patiently for a reply to his posting !
