Coming in a bit late here but one of the most stick to your brain songs that can gag a maggot is Debbie Boon's "You light Up My life". That sets right up there with Disney's "It's a Small World". Gonna be hearing that one come Thursday for a week with all the kids and gkids.
Great stuck in the head songs
Anything by the Eagles and for a bit earlier time period, anything by The Platters. Hard to beat either of those.
In my era many a Teen Town dance ended with a Platter's song.
Just thought of another great Teen Town final dance that can keep going in your head. Santos and Johnny's "Sleep Walk".

I have no problem with the Eagles getting stuck in my head, either! Hotel California may not be my favorite of all, but it sure does get stuck in my head: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NUbTW928sMU
Oh sure! You had to post the youtube site for Sleepwalk.
Now I'm having flash backs.
Freshman dance in the gym. Last dance, Bob Cuban band playing Sleepwalk and me dancing with Maureen *****.
Sister St. James walks up, taps me on the shoulder and says
"Leave a little room between you for the Holy Spirit".
I says "He's sitting on my shoulder".
MAN! I had a hard time hearing the end of the song from that hard left on my ear. Couldn't even fall asleep that night with my ear ringing so loud. Mean, evil, wicked wimmins I tell yas!
