Thanks for pointing that out, Vince, it goes ditto for me too. This probably isn't the place to give mad props, but I've had the chance to work with and learn from some very good dog trainers. I surely haven't invented any "NEW, IMPROVED" way to train dogs (any more than the nazis did in WWII, if you catch my drift...).
You do get "props" for filtering through the things that don't work to distill your advice to the things that do. We all liberaly borrow from each other, that is where we get the "new" techniques to try, then you put your own unique little spin on things. If we all had to re-invent the wheel every time there wouldn't be any progress.
If you can't be a Good Example, then You'll just have to Serve as a Horrible Warning. Catherine Aird.
So am I to gather this is the adult discussion - ridiculing and making snide remarks about someone who has made two posts and you don't really know anything about?
I do wish there were a way to change ratings. But so far they seem to track pretty closely how useful _I_ find people's posts--which I guess means that most of us on this board are adults.
I have been in Europe for 2 1/2 weeks - this thread has long outlived a usefull life. I would have shot it in the head a long time ago had I had reliable Internet connections. I am closing the topic.
I will not tolerate anyone posting crap from this idiot in Canada called the DOGMEN (Mike Mc Connery)- the guy is a psycho and I will not promote his insane training ideas or stupid concepts on my site. If those that support this fool do not like it they can pack their damn bags and drag their sorry ass off my web board. This includes Catherine or Kent Iroler or anyone else who cares to follow this fool.
For those that are not familiar with the guy - he changes the name of his company and web site every few years - it used to be BADEN K9
So let me repeat - if you wish to promot this bullshit - get the hell off my board and don't come back.
