I just watched the video and it is truly sad, i hope the PD wont justify this brutality.
But what im wondering is, the cameraman, who i assume is a PO, and i assume that a raid like this has to be filmed, why did he post the video on you tube??
did he fell guilty, did he want to expose the brutality, anyway im glad he did, maybe some action wil be taken.
There has got to be a better way to get bad guys off the street than this.
I'm not in law enforcement or anything similar, but couldn't some simple surveillance avoid some of these horrible mistakes?
I can't help but think that if you show me a house, that I can find out if there are kids, elderly, or animals, and how many in the residence within a few days.
Yes. When I read about the father was when I started crying. I think I was just stunned until I read that part.
I'm sorry the story had that profound of an effect on you, truly.
It had pretty much the opposite effect on me. I got angry.

The pain this family must be going through, i'm sure this wasn't intentional ,but it won't make a difference to her family...
I'm sure it wasn't intentional either but, I'm not buying that it was an accidental discharge.
My theory is that the little girl was woken up from the entry, popped her head up over the couch, was shot by an officer who's nerves were through the roof, and that this is a CYA story. I just have a hard time believing that a member of a police entry team wouldn't be able to control 1) an elderly woman and 2) his weapon.
