Wow, someone else who appreciates the beautiful voice of Eva Cassidy! I have just about everything recorded by her and love it all. It's also ironic she never cut a CD, except for one, during her lifetime. All of her CDs were produced by her bandmates posthumously. Sad story. Gorgeous voice.

Greg...she was an incredible talent that had such a short time to shine. Most people don't know who she was. So happy that 'others' saw to it that she got some of the exposure that she should have had while alive.
She played so many types of music...that you can listen to her all day & never tire of her music. Since I am a big blues fan....I really LOVE her bluesy songs.

That's part of why she never made it to any prominence as a recording star. She didn't allow anyone to pigeonhole her to any particular genre. She could and did do everything that she loved and that cost her. The only style that she performs that I don't care for all that much is when she does gospel and even that is spectacular.
