Well, I guess that doesn't surprise me. I've always believed music can be very therapeutic for a lot of different ailments, physical, mental, and emotional. I guess it just depends on your mood and what you are trying to achieve what type of music will be of the most benefit.
I've always thought S&G's "The Boxer" was a very relaxing song, too. And there are some classical pieces that I believe literally lower my blood pressure.
Yes, that's definitely a more relaxing selection. With my apologies, Duane, because I think you're in more of an AC/DC mood today , here's another Eagles classic that says it all right in the title:
"El Condor Pasa" and "Sundown," both nice and relaxing!
Duane, I don't know if you've mentioned liking Led Zeppelin, but I think they qualify as what used to be called "heavy metal" or some such thing back in my youth. Still, here is a selection of theirs that I have always found strangely relaxing:
I graduated in 81. Our school uniform was a concert jersey, and all the girls in the smoking section had big purses (and yes, Steve, pony tails were in fashion). Led Zeppelin was the favorite band of almost every kid I knew.
