I've recently discussed this with my bros and sisters. I think it boils down for many of us that it's simply now our time to be the old farts of the family.
We all decided there is nothing wrong with that. Just slide across the finish line with your tail on fire, power sliding across the line while pumping your fists pumping in the air to celebrate a great ride.
..........I think I need to go rest now. My bony old shoulders hurt from practicing that fist pumping.
To many flash backs with those bell bottoms, leisure suits and polyester shirts.....you know those things could catch fire really easy.
I confess I have several KC and the Sunshine Band selections on my MP3. Also, a few by Donna Summer. It is great treadmill-walking music! The tempo is just right for my speed.
