You can find out who has recently purchased a home in your neighborhood. When a home is purchased, the county recorder records the information and date. This is public information. Most people don't know this. If you'd like, you can PM me and I may be able to find some information for you based on addresses.

Good luck.
Go to google and do a search for your county and "appraisers" or "appraisers office" or "property appraiser"
for example, I live in Orange County, so typing "Orange County Property Appraiser" brings me to OCPAFL.org, there I can do a search for my street and see what all my neighbors paid for their homes, their names, and all their building permits, what the house cost to build, acreage, zoning etc Ive done this literally hundreds of times, I'm looking for acreage with specific zoning so everytime I find something interesting I run a search to see if it's suitable for my needs.

I want to second what everyone else here has said, and also point out that though ropes and tires probably are used by dog fighters, they are not dog fighting paraphenalia (sp?) in and of themselves, and many pet owners also have them for their dogs. Dogs of many different breeds like to hang onto ropes tied to branches of trees, and play with tires. Heck, the pet stores even sell toys called "Tire Biters" that are especially for dogs to play with.
Unfortunately, if you own a bully breed and play with it in any way that encourages it to use its mouth (tug of war, etc.), ignorant people will always assume you are training your dog to fight or be an attack dog.
