I too use a harness/seatbelt for my dog which then clips onto the car seat belt. Won't bother with the make it's British <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> They are very good. My dilemma now is I'm gonna have to cut a hole in the roof for his big head to pop through as he already has to duck and he's got another 12" to grow yet <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />
<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> He's a Dane, nearly 6 months old, 86lb and still ribby and about 26" at the moment. Both mum and Dad were big beasts. The breed standard of 30" isn't seen anymore, topping 36-40" nowadays and then people wonder why they have growth/joint problems <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />
Sounds like you'll have to limit your shoe shopping! You'll be spending all your money on food for him!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Don't forget to post photos of the car's modifications. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
Judy,
That's the beauty of raw <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> But it is a good thing that I'm not really into shoes,(his worming tablets cost enough <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> however, Logan loves shoes <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
Connie,
I really do need a digital camera don't I? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
Also regarding U.K. cars mine is one of the largest saloons, it's a good thing I don't drive a Mini <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Yep, and it's quite a turnaround from the December post when Logan was too thin and couldn't regain lost illness weight.
Lisa, you have been a great caretaker of that pup. Kudos! You did the research, did the work, started the all-natural diet, and turned his health around. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
Dog car seat belts thats interesting we battle to get people to use them, never mind the dogs,I have a hatchback,
the older dogs just love the car, they love wind surfing,
heads out, if you see there smiles you wouldn't wonder up to say Hi so I don't have a problem of people approaching my car at the robots, we have dozens of hawkers selling all kinds of stuff, at the robots, sometimes you never know if you are possible hijacking victim, so I do not crate my dogs in the car, they would not be able to do a thing in there, and it is not unheard of hijackers taking
off with car and crate and dumping the dog somewhere.
Amazing how different things can be in different places.
I've had a friend of mine severly bitten in the face walking by a vehicle .
I know alot of people think they are being nice to their dogs letting them have their heads out the window as they drive but please remember at 30 mph if something flies into your dogs eye/s it can do alot of damage . If you think it can't happen simply look at all the stuff splattered on your windshield .
I recommend never allowing you dog enough room to get it's head completely out the windows .
