Cool. I'll forward the info to Ed and his web guy. They should be able to help him get into his account.

There seems to be some confusion on who owns this kennel.I get personal phone calls in my office from someone who says his name is John James - threatens to sue me for whats posted on myt web site.
If 8,500 people can figure out how to register on my web board I think Mr James or whoever he is can figure this out on his own. He does not need to be HAND FED!!!
As it is we have two names for the person who claims to be the owner.Who ever comes her had better be able to confirm who he is because I assure you we will make sure before he posts.
I dont have a lot of patience for threats !!!!!!!!!!!
I suggest this guy let his dogs speak for himself.

Two different John's. John Crane the guy I posted for is a client of Van Den Huevel K9 which is owned by John James. John Crane has an account with this forum but can't get his password resent to him. I just thougth I would clear that up for everyone.

This may just me, but when a kennel owner is threatening to sue over someone's valid observation of their breedings, that would drop them off the list of a kennel that I would ever consider dealing with.
I'm just not much into dealing with the insecure or those that threatened legal action for no reason.

I have had previous conversations with Dari regarding a dog I was considering, and found her to be very honest, actually telling me she didn't think he was the right dog. Many breeders would push any dog they'd had anything to do with on just about anyone, so I respected that honesty.
Having said that...I can't believe that what Van Camp said sparked all this...animosity. I read and reread (until it disappeared) his post and I walked away with his OPINION on the kennel...which he stated based on the dogs he has seen personally. Whether or not someone agrees with him isn't the issue. What he said was HIS opinion based on HIS experience, and I believe he even said if someone could show him otherwise, he'd "eat crow." To me (and I'm no expert-just a dumb girl , this would be a DISCUSSION, not BASHING. He didn't say anything about the James family, or their dogs he hasn't met, and openly admitted (very clearly, at the bottom) that he did not know them or have any personal issue or reason to dislike them, or something to that effect, if I remember correctly.
John James' alleged reaction/phone call, etc. has done nothing to help his cause. All he's done is raised a red flag. He's made it appear that he has something to hide by getting so infuriated over an opinion on a DISCUSSION board. I have to say, I feel differently about their kennel based on John James' actions-not on Robert Van Camp's comments. I absolutely would think twice about his kennel now, and I'm anxious to see what happens here.
Does anyone know for sure if it was really Mr.James who called Ed? There are some real whackjobs out there who claim to be people they're not, and I hate to come down on the guy if it wasn't even him (that wouldn't be CHRISTIAN, now, would it?

I’ll write a post here again since the other one was deleted.
I have known the James family for going on almost three years now and have spent time with the entire family and they are good people. After getting the quality female that I have already received from them I will definitely be getting another dog from them when it is time. Dari and John are both honest people that try their hardest to correct any problems that someone may encounter with owning one of their dogs.
When I first contacted Dari I told her I wasn’t looking to purchase a puppy at that time but would like to talk to her about her kennel and her dogs. She spent two hours that day on the phone with me knowing that I was not going to be purchasing a puppy at that time. I had called other kennels and stated that same thing to them and most of them said “let me call you back”, I never heard back from a single kennel that made that statement. After watching two VDH offspring work in person, from two totally different breedings, and because of the time she took with me I called Dari back when it was time to purchase a pup. I do not regret that decision in the least.
My female is 16 months old today and is out of Norbo Ben Ju and Exa Z. Esagilu. She is exactly what I told Dari I was looking for in a female. Drive up the a**, a little hard and a little defensive. Like I have stated on my last posts both my ScH trainer and my PSA trainer say she is one of the nicest females they have seen in a while. Two decoys have told that when she works you can’t tell how young she is.
My PSA trainer has been so impressed by the VDH dogs that he has worked that he now owns a VDH female himself and thinks she is one of the nicest females he has owned. And this is a man that has been training dogs for over 15 years.
Between my ScH club and the PSA club there are six of us with VDH dogs ranging from the ages of almost three years to five months. Every one of us purchased our dogs after seeing a VDH dog work.
I am happy to send pictures of my female working to anybody that would like to see them. I believe I also have pictures of John Crane’s Congo/Amalka son and pictures of a female out of Xero/Trixa Ben Ju also working.
Anybody in the Colorado area is welcome to come by the clubs and see the dogs old enough to work actually work and draw their own conclusions.

Brian, does Ed's experience seem plausible? Is it possible, knowing them personally, that it wasn't him? I have heard of a few instances lately where people have been impersonating others...I'd hate to have that be the case here, and I like to give people the benefit of the doubt until something's proven. I know Reyna is great, and I know of a few others who are thrilled with their dogs.

That's what I'd always heard, and that had been my experience as well, although I never actually purchased a dog from them. My breeder has bred to some of her males, and always kept her in high regard as well. That's why the idea of a yelling lunatic on the phone to Ed just doesn't seem to fit...and with the loonies out there...it's just possible that things may not be what they seem.

Jenni - caller ID eliminates a lot of the possibility of that type of fraud nowadays!
