Will, how 'bout a White Fluffy Slipper O'Death??? I know he's the most vicious dog *I* have ever encountered...
Great website! Made me wish I was closer to your area. Maybe when I fly down to visit my family sometime in the Stone Mountain, GA area I will bring my cowdog with me for some fun
I think it's hilarious, Will! That's the picture the breeder sent me to help me decide which one I wanted, and slippers were the first things that came to mind! I only have one white slipper, and believe me, he's been called much worse!
Funny you should think some 'Huskey's' are "dumb as a load of bricks". It's huskies. And, the first letter if a canine breed is not capitalized as it is not a proper name.
What's *really* funny is that you're making it an issue, even after Will specifically made a point in this very thread to thank everyone who helped him with spelling errors on the site . Even as an English major, I need to say that if we spend our time critiquing posters' grammar...then we really need something better to do. Joking is one thing (Jeff Oehlsen's comma splice in his signature still annoys me, and he likes that it annoys me, I think), but actually pointing it out in a demeaning way is entirely another. There's your first "peanut gallery" comment.
Funny you should think some "Huskey's" are "dumb as a load of bricks." It's "huskies." Additionally/Also/Secondly, the first letter of a canine breed is not capitalized, as it is not a proper name.
It's not about being touchy; I was just trying to point out how harshly things can come across in written communication. I am as guilty as anyone. Sometimes I go back and read something and think "Ouch. I should've put that differently to make sure they knew I was joking."
