I made the same mistake a while back. I wanted to give Kevin Sheldahl five stars but accidentally hit the submit button without seeing that it was programmed for only one star. I went to Ed and the board and found out it couldn't be changed so I told Kevin about my mistake. Mistakes happen sometimes. - Greg
Oh man. Are you telling me Jeff's stuck with 3 piddly little stars?
Someone on the board who read the thread tried giving Jeff 5 stars and, as of yesterday, it didn't take. I didn't post all day today so I don't know if he's got his 5 stars or not.
Jeez, why does it have to be so hard ?

No.
They accumulate. If lots of people rate him at five stars, then his cumulative rating will go up.* I used to watch the "star activity." One day last year I had 5 stars, and then I posted about something unpopular and the next day I had one. Then they slooooooowly climbed back up..............
*Or at least, that was the way I figured it out.
My stars just keep going down I had 5 once upon a time. I don't place much value in em, I certainly wouldn't worry about it. People should make their own judgements as to how valid the advice is that they are given, not rely on stars to tell em if someone is worth listening to. Stars are more of a popularity thing than an assurance of advice quality... if I went on the board tomorrow n said, well, German Shepherds really aren't all that great, I'd get a Mal over a shepherd any day... just watch my stars disappear!!
I thought this thread would for surely be dead by now...
I will tell you all, only because it is still on the board... I was really excited about the first star I received. It seemed pretty obvious in regards to what it was for...and, well,
BUT...I told my man about my enthusiasm and he told me I was a dork! So. I guess ya win some and ya lose some too. (Though I think he's just jealous that HE didn't get a star!!!)
I agree. Go with the what works for you in your circumstance, not necessarily the STARZ.
