The only thing worse is being woken up by another person and told to go clean it up <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> .

NO, No , No!!
The *worst* thing is to *not* wake up to the sound and then swing your legs out of the bed when you first wake up and step into the cold, nasty puddle of vomit.
Actually, it wakes me up faster than a shot of double expresso.
Elaine, if you ever found out why the mix of the those different foods causes your dog to vomit, please post the answer - I'd be very interested to hear the cause!
Sometimes you can learn some incredibly esoteric things on this board! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
No, the **worst** nasty puddle left on the floor in the middle of the night isn't vomit at all. That's when you realize they REALLY did need to get outside when they woke you up at 2:00 am.

Yes, I'm curious about that too. My male showline sometimes throws up foamy yellow w/ slime mixed in.
I always thought it was because he had an empty stomach and needed to eat, maybe too much acid in his stomach??
No one ever said life was supposed to be easy, life is what you make of it!!

LC: Don't know how I missed that one. LOL.
VanCamp Robert asked: what does foamy and bright yellow mean??
LC: I'm not a vet and I don't play one on TV but I've had a couple of dogs show me that. The vets tell me that it's bile and usually a sign of either nerves or an allergic reaction to a food. Since I've been feeding lamb and rice I've only had one dog, a very nervous dog, do it and then only if he's missed a meal. Usually it happens on an empty stomach.

LC: That will do it.
Lou Castle has been kicked off this board. He is an OLD SCHOOL DOG TRAINER with little to offer.
I've had two that would puke up the yellow foam. It went away when I decreased the protien amount in the dry food. I also had one that had a intestenal blockage that puked brown (not good). One time I made them puke because I thought they might have eaten poison. I used Hydrogen peroxide as suggested by the Vet. I carefully looked the puke and poked through it and it was ok luckly. Ok it's lunch time.
