I got to see max today, to be honest it broke my heart when I saw him.He seems to be doing ok he has not lost any more blood so as of right now he does not need a transfusion. The doctor brought him out to see me and I was amazed that he was up and walking allready considering he had surgery last night.I took him outside for a minute to see if he could go to the bathroom and he peed for a very long time, the doctor said that was a good sign.I was a little bit surprised that the doctor told me to take him outside it's amazing how fast he is back up on his feet.I did not want to stress him to much so I kept the visit very short. Were not out of the woods yet still have a long way to go but so far everything seems to be going ok.He is in the ICU so he is watched 24 hours a day plus he is hooked up to an EKG and all sorts of tubes and wires,it kills me to see him like this.I will be back at the hospital tomorrow to see how he is doing.I would like to thank everyone for their on going support.
I wish your dog a speedy recovery, I sincerely thought about your dog and family through out the day and hoped you had good new to tell , very happy to hear.

All smiles on your good news. My thoughts, too, have been with you and your recent traumatic events. Glad to hear he's home with you. Thank god for the medical advances and that your dog was and is in good hands.
