We put some test on Iron with civil in a car he came out of the car to help me and did make the bite, And I sent him once with out sleeve or hidden sleeve and he hit and OWST just right. Just hadn’t decided how far I want to go with it because of the family. Angelique I have all the papers and I have called Wayne today for the online version he will get it up this week, I am new to all this. Iron is very intense but has been a great dog
Loves to work and play. More tonight
My male is very dirty on the field when we work for Schutzhund, like he will bite right away and also will bite at anything he can but not the sleeve he does not care for the sleeve, when we do our transport he tries to bite the helper's side.
This made it sound like the dog doesn't like to bite the sleeve? And being dirty = nerve issue, doesn't want to face the decoy front-on and doesn't understand that training is sparring, not clearheaded, wants to sneak around the side of the decoy to fearbite him in the ass etc. 9/10 people who tell me they have a "serious" dog have a dog that's unbalanced, dogs who anounce too much, curl their lips, look like they wanna kill you, but can't back it up under real pressure. If a dog can't handle doing intermediate sleeve work halfway decent, then I wouldn't trust them to defend me.
The reason actually that he has been dirty lately is due to our decoy being new and unsecure at times, he has seen my male on different levels and for what ever reason when it's my turn the helpers get a bit uncomfortable and therefore my dog can smell it a mile away.He has had many test , he will fight you head on with no fear, what I meant by he won't bite the sleeve is that , maybe not the best "phrase" is that he is not sleeve driven, if the helper throws the sleeve to the left and positions himself to the right my male will not care to guard , bark at the sleeve he only cares about the "man" he won't flinch for the sleeve,he will come on strong with no sleeve on the field.I can seriously say that a head on comfrontation is not a problem. He's foundation was without a sleeve and I see that he bumps the sleeve will put some pressure to move the decoy in order to bite, dirty in a sense that he gets pushy and wants the sleeve out of the way.At least that is what our decoys call "dirty" Maybe everyone has their own term of what "dirty " means.I have heard "molesting the sleeve" as well maybe a a better term to describe my male. But I will always stick to my belief when I say that a true PPD should see the sleeve as less as possible. When we bought our male I had seen others prior to consider and when the sleeve was not in sight the dogs did not know what to do or where to bite,a dog I don't want as a PPD
