well excuse me for breathing! a lighter diet doesnt mean feed less it means to me at least find a diff food that will calm him down a bit like calm and conditioner with horses! and i dont agree with dogs being outside, not family dogs any way! unless the dog likes to live outside, i realise the email was not his! and i would have a crate for training but not as a permanant fixture, i dont like it, unless his door is open, close at night! obviosly you cant let a puppy walk around the house on his own! i have safety gates all around my house to protect him and keep him away from all cables when i not there, most are in living room and when i out or asleep i keep it locked, there are no other cables lying loose, yeah i leave him to play with his toys so he doent get stressed while im out, you make it sound as if i aint got a clue how to look after my dog, most of it is common knoledge!
to stop my dog running roit i chained him to me around the house and i am noww training to heal! i am very capable of caring for him. yeah i didnt give good advice but its my matter of appinoin and i am intitled to it. its what people choose to do with it! i tell people what worked for me as are other people

Sandy moore you and I seem to be on the same page ,i guess everyone just doesnt take the time to read it all before they jump in .that happens alot on the pedigreedatabase too ! cheers sandy ! i like your dog , gotta love those blacks !
I'm afraid you did , it makes no difference that he got a hold of Ed, or was asking the board. Not everyone knows what others do( that Ed is so busy), and like I said keep an open mind....If you don't care to take the time to give advice to the people who reach out, it's a free country..
By the way you don't know that maybe he is reading the board now.
If anything we say might opens his mind up to try new things to better himself as a dog owner, more power to it.
PS this is not like Pedigree data board, we have more respect for one another on this board, you are getting way too defensive for something that was KINDLY written, maybe that is where you should go back too, those people on there need anger management
But I see you are pretty new to this board, and it's matter of time before you get what this board is all about.

im sorry if you took my comments the wrong way and it angered you enough to tell me "perhaps i need to go back to pedigreedatabase' & " accuse me of having anger management problems " makes me believe that you took real personel offense to my comments when you read them .Again i am sorry if my comments hurt you or your ego as i did not intend them that way .
I like your sense of humor, but you did point it at me, when frankly saying having an open mind is really saying look at the big picture,I'm a very patient person maybe too patient, but i don't find closing doors on people the first thing that comes to my mind, some people are good about that, I'm not.Lifes'too short.I rather give a hand and see what comes of it than turn my back. And if you read back I did say I understood your anger at the guys statement, and gave you one of my scenario that makes me tic, but you skipped all that and pointed the fact that I said have an open mind.I say it to friends of mine and it's not a bad statement.....sorry U took it that way.
