I would personally feel a lot more comfortable with what I am doing if I could only find one vet who supported RAW feeding.
It was two seperate vets that actually led me to raw feeding! One is a raw feeder herself, and the other knows my breed well and suggested it when we had some health issues on kibble.
The vet I go to for yearly bloodwork is not raw friendly (I like their lab service best so visit for bloodwork only). After viewing my bloodwork and examining my dog last year he comment on his great condition/coat/muscle tone/teeth.... he then asked how often I brushed his teeth. I said never but that I raw feed and prepared for the lecture. Instead he said he does not like raw feeding for dogs and thinks it is dangerous...but that I must know what I am doing and what ever I am doing keep doing it!
I think vets are comming around...slowly.
Like Sarah, I also know of a raw vet in the UK who is on a breed specific list, so those raw vets are out there!
My vet is in his 50's, maybe 60's and is "old school". A bit more close-minded than I would like, but I will deal with it, since my dogs will only be going in to get their rabies shots and if there was an emergency situation.
