First off Will, Durable, ROTFLMAO! I like that, durable, LOL! I guess I can and did take some serious beatings huh.
Betty I wish I could, the training alone is worth the move. When I get a bit more settled, I'll start making frequent vacation trips over there to train. You guys haven't seen the last of me

I'm always glad to train guests, if ya'll are in my area on a Sat. morning and afternoon, send me a PM ahead of time and we'll have some fun!
We have a bunch of *great* dogs and handlers in my club, it's worth a visit. And it's a good cardio-vascular work out for the handlers with me yelling for everyone to "WALK FASTER!!!" If I'm ever out that way, I'm absolutely going to schedule my trip so a Saturday would be part of it. Betty mentioned Florida - Will, are you in Florida or Georgia (thought it was Georgia)?
Military talk and war stories - if I could join in , I have a couple of stories to share that my husband told me when he served in Vietnam, should I ever come out that way.

Hold your head up, Betty. Remember, if fastpitch softball were easy, men would play it!
As you think, so shall you be. |

Not only did I throw like a girl again I now have proof that all the nervous tics that people in my training group have developed is due to me----not because of the water like I suspected at first.
Will can probably fill in the details because like a train crash I have blocked it out of my little brain but somehow yesterday when he told me to reward my dog I sent Annable after poor Drew who was helping me with distractions and was holding the ball.
The good news is she is definately not focusing on the equipment.
One of my fellow club members who had a good view of Princess Weasels face said she actually looked over her shoulder at me with a confused look on her face like she was asking "Are you sure?, did a doggy shrug, and said "Allright, this is a reward I can sink my teeth in."
Poor Drew said all he could think of is "this is going to hurt," as he remembered how much he has felt her grip with a sleeve..
Will and Ken kept trying to yell at me, but they were too busy laughing. You could actually see them trying to regain composure enough to yell, but it was impossible......
An hour later Will was still shaking his head in disbelief and muttering "You were doing so well, you were doing so well......."
I don't think Drew is going to help me with my distractions anymore.
I'm really trying to figure out why they keep me around and the only thing I can come up with is that I am able to show them a side of dog training that they have never seen before....
