my dogs look almost like yours/very nice, Holly is a bit more heafty(to loose a bit more).
I just started reading this post because the topic interested me and I had the same question, I need to get more excersize for my to dogs to tire when there are times that I can't.
Would it be wise to leave the equipment out with them durring the day when I am not there so they can get some exercise or have more things to do during the day to get tired and not bark so much maybe. Hoping is is a valid question.
Training was menioned that 15min was maybe too long, how long should training be? When we took drak and holly to obedience trainging outdoors, it was for 1/2hr. When I read Ed's post he mentions a few minutes. How long should obedience training be?
I was wondering the same thing, Maggie. I'm afraid if I left the equipment out with them during the day it would be in pieces when I got home though, lol.
Carolyn, let me know how it turns out because if something works for you I will give it a try myself.
This is A little off topic I think but I it was a bit funny: Drak and Holly both sleep on two round huge cousions in their beds in the garage. Holly has a thing with dragging her bed (well trying to anyway) on the ground, through the doggy hole and to the backyard. This time she did it, she wripped it on the sides then she decided to use draks and drag that one too and wripped it, they both had to sleep on the carpet for the night. I bought the spray called "bitter apple" I read on what it was for. We bought them both new pillows and I sprayed quite a bit on them both and now they are enjoying now and holly has not dragged anything as of yet. Hoping she learned her lesson.
