It seems like in the East Coast you tend to meet more sch folks than West Coast. I have met tons of FR/ MR fans in the West coat. It is just my opinion.

The only thing I can say to make you pea green is that bad weather often = awesome dog training, at least in the Midwest on the first snow day of the year.

Around this part of No. California there are a lot of choices dog training wise Amber. Schutzhund, agility, obedience. Everything you could want within a 2hr drive. The weather would be tough to beat. But it's expensive, crowded now and always trying to pass some looney laws or regulations. But dog wise, you can always find what you want. I can think of at least half a dozen Schutzhund clubs near me.

Thanks, Steve. I've spent many summers in the Bay Area and loved it. I didn't realize it had an active training community, though, although that shouldn't surprise me.
