I mention above the use of treats, as does John. I can't say for sure if it sped up the process, but I think it made my dogs more ready to "Go" when we first got outside. "Oh! Hotdog!"
I'm sure it helps. No doubt in my mind. As with everything, timing her is crucial.
i keep her to a 2-3M square area, more or less, but she can wander around that for 5 minutes. ergh. i think i need to keep up with the marking and just reinforce, reinforce, reinforce.

The high-value reward can really jump-start the process.
'PEE and i'll give you this chicken wing!!! huh? good deal or what!' while luc dances in the background 'I ALWAYS PEE RIGHT AWAY, WHERE'S MY CHICKEN WING!'
....okay, maybe i won't do it quite like that. but she is food-motivated, giving her a food reward should help.
(right now in the mornings i'm like 'go pee! go pee!....will you just go to the freaking washroom? i mean - go pee!' )
I have taught both my dogs to go on command. I don't like standing around in the cold. And I thought if we ever do really get into agility they need to go on command. It helps when we are camping too.
I leash them, take them out, stand where I want them to go, wait right there. In the beginning it was tuff. I said go potty, and when they went did what you guys do, act like they have done the greatest thing in the world. Cody, my little 4 mo old male will go and save some of his urine, so now i ask him, more potty? and he will go again, and even poop. It works great and saves time.
I always take them to the same spot. I don't want the grand kids to have to navigate land mines and step in things I may miss picking up. (we have over 1/2 acre and I could miss something.)
God bless you
